Captioning Comments Deadline Moved

You've got a few more days to make a comment to the FCC's about captioning TV shows over the Internet. The Commission is moving its deadline to file comments from September 3 to November 4. The deadline to file reply comments is extended to December 4.

Several groups asked for the extension, including:

• The Telecommunications for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing 
• National Association of the Deaf Association of Late-Deafened Adults 
• Hearing Loss Association of America 
• Cerebral Palsy and Deaf Organization 
• Deaf and Hard of Hearing Consumer Advocacy Network 
• California Coalition of Agencies Serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing 
• Technology Access Program at Gallaudet University
