The film Silence to Sound will premiere Friday at the New York International Film Festival. Made by Brooklyn Girl Productions, the movie tells the story of Justin Garreet, born profoundly deaf, who becomes Oklahoma's first recipient of a bilateral cochlear implant at the age of 27.
