The Uber driving service is adding features to its app for the deaf and hard-of-hearing drivers it partners with. The driver will only get texts from riders and instead of an audio alert, drivers can set their devices to flash notifications. So far, the option is only available in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. That will change after a short period of testing. Read the announcement here.
