Teaching Award

A group led by Pennsylvania's Bloomsburg University has won an award for its efforts related to online education for the deaf. The IMS Global Learning Consortium gave the group's platinum award for distance education in recognition of the team's use of Blackboard's online component. The group was led by Sam Slike, the curriculum coordinator in education of the deaf/hard of hearing at Bloomsburg.
