A Colorado judge has dismissed a lawsuit against a national portrait studio chain, ruling that the EEOC failed to prove that the deaf plaintiff was qualified for the job. The
Picture People outlet in Littleton, Colorado turned down repeated requests from Jessica Chrysler for a sign language interpreter. Chrysler was hired as a photographer and wanted help at mandatory trainings and staff meetings.

What was the point whether she qualified for the job? She was working for that company and needed ASL interpreter for her trainings and meetings. That was the point! Silly judge!
Plantiff failed to prove she is qualified for the job?! How is this an issue when the company HIRED her and training is an essential part of being "qualified". Based on these facts, this needs to be appealled to a higher court.
