Colorado Springs police are investigating whether the Colorado School For The Deaf And The Blind violated state law by failing to immediately report a sexual assault on campus. Katrina Stewart says her son was assaulted a year ago by another boy in a bathroom, but because her nine year old son is legally blind, he could not identify the offending middle school student. At the time, school officials said they could do nothing. A year later they have admitted that the offending boy confessed. The Board of Trustees says it is looking into the situation itself.
