The house includes several acres to go along with its 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. She bought it 12 years ago for $437,000. Matlin told People, "I'm paying it back. I'm not shying away from it and I'm certainly not ashamed of it. It doesn't mean I'm a bad person. It's reality. It's the reality that a lot of people in America are facing."
