Dropping Enrollment

Due to the growing popularity of cochlear implants, Toronto's only full sign language elementary school had just nine students enroll this year. That’s down from more than 100 just a decade ago. The Metropolitan Toronto School for the Deaf will eventually be merged with other special education programs.
