A graduate of the
New York State School for the Deaf has admitted he tried to alter a lottery ticket to make it appear he had won. Yann Spindler of Buffalo claimed his Mega Millions lottery ticket earned him $252,000,000. But Spindler didn't know there was no jackpot winning tickets sold for that day. He plead guilty to an attempted grand larceny charge and told police he wanted to open a school for the deaf with the money.
