Juror Bill Rejected

North Carolina lawmakers have sent a bill back to committee that would have allowed the deaf to serve on juries. The vote was 65 to 48. That probably means the measure will die in committee and there will be no law supporting deaf jurors in the state any time soon. Orange County Democrat Bill Faison promises to submit the bill again.
