A deaf homeless man spent six weeks in a Virginia jail-without an interpreter or access to a TTY. That's the claim in a lawsuit filed by Abreham Zemedagegehu. He didn't even know why he was behind bars for 24 days, the suit says. Zemedagegehu is from Ethiopia and cannot write in English.
