A video captioning company is launching an effort to make it easier to get video accurately transcribed on YouTube. 3Play Media's YouTubecaptions.com lets contributors sign in with their YouTube accounts and request that their videos be captioned for a $2.50 a minute rate. 3Play Media has put together a network comprised of hundreds of professional transcriptionists to complete most projects in less than a day.
YouTube already has its own automatic captioning based on Google’s speech recognition technology but it doesn't always work. Read more at 3Play Media here.
