Half a Century of The Miracle Worker

Alabama's 50th anniversary edition of The Miracle Worker starts today. It is one of the Top 10 Events of 2011, according to the state's tourism department. The production takes place in Tuscumbia, Helen Keller’s Birthplace and Home, through July 9th. This Broadway-style play recalls Keller's childhood and her gifted teacher, Anne Sullivan.
