NYT reviews The Tribe

The new film The Tribe takes place in a Ukrainian boarding school for the deaf--and it's disturbing. That's reflected in today's review of it in the New York Times that reads in part, "Having provoked the audience’s curiosity, the film punishes us, using the bodies of its young performers.. as tokens in a prurient, punitive spectacle."
