ACEHearing

A new app called ACEHearing will adjust the volume of a smartphone based on the users hearing loss. The software is designed for people who have some hearing loss, but not enough to require a hearing aid. Rather than just making everything louder, ACEHearing fills in gaps in the range of sound the users has trouble picking up.The Chinese University of Hong Kong is one of the principal developers. The innovative app was a finalist in this year's Asian Innovation Awards and should be available next year.
