Basketball Tournament

Thousands of fans and more than 500 players from 48 teams across the country gathered in Orlando this weekend for the USA Deaf Basketball Tournament. The event started in 1945. This year marks the 64th Men's and 18th Women's tournament. Players have to be deaf or hard of hearing but coaches do not. The tourney uses NCAA rules - except referees make calls using both a whistle and his hands.
