An assistant high school principal has been hired as the new director of the Oregon School for the Deaf. Patti Togioka will take over the Salem school in August. She previously worked there between 1980 and 1998. The Oregon School for the Deaf has about 120 students. The state plans to move the Oregon School for the Blind to the same campus.
