One of Japan's most popular musical figures didn't write his music. And he wasn't deaf, as he claimed. Mamoru Samuragochi hired someone to write most of his music. He apologized this past week, but didn't explain why he is admitting his deception at this time. The ghost writer turns out to be a teacher at a prestigious music college in Tokyo.
