Iliana Delgado is the first deaf cheerleader at LA's Downey High School. Only about 1 in 5 girls make the squad. She tells KTTV, "“I feel good about myself. Sometimes I feel a little frustrated because I struggle when I can't hear something but people encourage me and I keep going on.” The TV station has a video report posted below.
