A deaf woman in Merced, California who stabbed her deaf husband to death last year is out of jail. A judge sentenced Courtney Ross to a year in jail and three years' probation - meaning the time she had already served meant she could walk free. She could have gotten 4 years, but the judge said the abuse she had suffered in the relationship from Jonathan Ross was a major factor in his sentence.
