ASL is the first language of deaf people or oralism is not. It is wrong to try to force oralism onto people who are deaf. Using American sign language allows everybody to be included in all the communication. Oralism forces people to miss much of the conversation and it has been proven that they only get about 65% of spoken language. It's time for the school in Utah to get a new superintendent. It's time they find a superintendent who has a heart for the deaf people and understands their needs!
AGREE! Brave action and it points to the problem all over America. Noyce should go. She should stay! No more Noyce!
