RIT Gets Big Gift

The Rochester Institute of Technology is getting $600,000 from an entrepreneur fund. The Johnson Scholarship Foundation's Endowed Scholarship for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is based in West Palm Beach, Florida. It will provide $5,000 each year to 12 students who are studying entrepreneurship. They also must be getting support from the school's National Technical Institute for the Deaf. The federal government will be matching the donation, so the full benefit to the school will be $1.2 million.
